When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. If you sign in via Google or Apple, we receive basic profile information from those services.
We store the flashcards, collections, and study materials you create or import. This includes card content, tags, images, and any AI-generated explanations or validations associated with your cards.
We collect information about how you interact with SynapRX, including study session activity, card performance metrics (for spaced repetition scheduling), and feature usage patterns. This helps us improve the learning experience and optimise our algorithms.
We may collect basic device and browser information such as device type, operating system, and browser version for troubleshooting and analytics purposes.

SynapRX uses AI services (currently Google's Gemini) to enhance your study materials. When you use AI features, relevant card content is sent to these services for processing. We do not use your content to train AI models. AI-generated content is stored within your account for offline access and to reduce redundant processing.
Your data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure with industry-standard security measures. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and implement access controls to protect your information. Study content remains associated with your account and is not shared with other users unless you explicitly choose to share it.
We retain your account and study data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.

SynapRX is designed for higher education students and professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
